David A. Johnson is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist in Kentucky and a Certified Master Social Worker in Tennessee. He attended Freed Hardeman University, Bethel College, and the University of Tennessee at Martin from which he received a B.S. in Education. In 1992, he received his Master's Degree in Social Work fromt he University of Tennesse. David taught high school English and Music for 8 years. He then served as a Youth and Family Minister for 15 years. He has been affliated with the Christian Counseling Center since 1992 and currently serves as its Clinical Director. David has more than 30 years of experience in working with families and individuals in overcoming a wide range of problems. He has treated individuals with depression, anxiety, BiPolar Disorder, eating disorders, addictions,(alcoho, drug, sexual, internet porn), childhood abuse, and chronic pain issues. He has helped children with AD(H)D, behavior problems, school performance problems, and divorce adjustment issues. He has assisted couples with problems surrounding communication, marital affairs, finances, and bleneded family issues. He's worked with parents in addressing behavior problems with their children. David has been married for 34 years. He has two daughters and 5 grandchildren.
