Marital Therapy - may be considered when the following are present: (1) reccurring marital conflicts, (2) long periods of silence as a means of avoiding conflicts, (3) frequent use of tranquilizers or sleep aids, (4) sexual conflicts, (5) conflicts regarding management of the home or its finances. Marital therapy involves both spouses.
Family Therapy -
is an approach found most successful in the treatment of: alcoholism, mental illness, divorce, behavioral problems, bedwetting, soiling, and other family conflicts. Family therapy may involve all family members or those essential to address the problem.
Individual Therapy - is a good beginning toward ending emotional distress. Interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts are frequently aided by this method.
