Depression
Someone experiencing depression may feel constant feelings of sadness, irritability, or tension.  They may not be interested in their usual activities or hobbies and feel as though they are lacking energy even after getting rest.  Many times a noticeable change in appetite and sleep patterns will occur.  Often it will be difficult to concentrate and make decisions and one may feel burdened with hopelessness and guilt.  These symptoms may be worse on some days versus others.  Certain seasons of the year or events in life may trigger the onset of these symptoms.
